Every state's thali tells the speciality of catering for that state like the "Hari mirch tappore" served in Rajasthani thali that shows the chatpata and tikha taste of Rajathani thali. Hari mirch tappore, which is proud of Rajasthani thali that is served in very few quantities of thali but provide a new flavour and form to the thali's food. "Hari mirch tappore" are fried in oil with some Indian spices, which ready in very short time.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 100 gram---green chili (hari mirch)
  • 5 tsp---mustard oil
  • 1/2 tsp---fennel seeds (saunf)
  • 1/2 tsp---cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1/2 tsp---mustard seeds (rai)
  • 1/2 tsp---turmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1 tsp---dry coriander powder (sukha dhaniya powder)
  • 1 tsp---dry mango powder (aamchur powder)
  • 1/4 tsp---red chili powder (lal mirch powder)
  • Pinch of asafoetida (hing)
  • According to taste---salt

METHOD:

  • Heat 5 tsp oil in a pan, on medium flame
  • Put asafoetida, asafoetida smells, put cumin seeds, fennel seeds and mustard seeds.
  • When the cumin seeds and mustard seeds starts cracling, put pieces of green chili.
  • Put salt, dry coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, mix it properly.
  • cook it for 2 minutes, put dry mango powder and cook it for a minute.
  • Hari mirch tappore is ready to serve.
  • You can enjoy it as side dish,

TIps

  • Take thick green chili for Hai mirch tappore
  • You can keep Hari mirch tappore two or three days.


If you are fond of eating hari mirch (green chilli)  but do not want to eat very spicy food then the solution is to make without spices tasty hari mirch which is tasty but not very spicy which can be eaten by children, elderly people and those who do not like to eat more fried and spicy food . It is made in less oil and spices and the special thing is to remove the seeds of green chillies which eliminates the pungency of green chilli.

WITHOUT SPICES TASTY HARI MIRCH

Ingredients:

  • 100 gram---Hari mirch (green chilli)
  • 1/2 tsp---Mustard oil
  • 1/2 tsp---Cumin seeds (jeera) 
  • 1/2 tsp---Turmeric powder (haldi) 
  • 1 tsp---Dry mango powder (aamchur powder)
  • According to taste---Salt

METHOD

  • Remove the seeds of hari mirch (green chilli) and cut it lengthwise.
  • Heat 1/2 tsp oil in a pan, on medium flame.
  • When oil is hot added cumin seeds in it.
  • When the cumin seeds start cracling, put turmeric powder and green chilli.
  • Cook it for 2 minutes while stirring continuously.
  • Put salt, dry mango powder in it, mix it properly.
  • Cook it for a minuteand turn off the gas.
  • Keep it covered for 2 minutes.

  • You can enjoy it as side dish,    

 

TIPS FOR WITHOUT SPICES TASTY HARI MIRCH:

  • Remove the seeds of hari mirch 
  • Remove the seeds of hari mirch very carefully, if possible, Wear kitchen gloves to cut green chillies
