Bajra Roti |
Bajra(millet) roti is mostly eaten in North India, especially in Rajasthan. In Rajasthan Bajra roti are eaten with spice garlic & red chili chutney. By the way, Bajra roti is made in a very simple way, But I learned from my mother-in-law to make Bajra roti in a completely different way which makes very tasty bajra roti by adding boiled potatoes and a little wheat flour, salt and oil.. By adding boiled potatoes and wheat flour ,bajra roti is easily formed and bajra roti has a unique and crispy taste. Here, i am telling you to make bajra roti learned from my mother- in-law.

INGREDIENTS:
METHOD:
- Grate the boiled potato.
- Put bajra flour, wheat flour ,salt, oil, grated potato in a large bowl.
- Mix it with the help of your fingers at least 5 minutes.
- Put lukewarm water little by little, knead the soft dough.
- Take medium ball sized dough, dust with wheat flour and with the help of rolling pin, you can make shape of flat roti.
- Remove the excess wheat flour and put the roti on a hot tawa.
- Turn the roti and cook it from both sides.
- After cooking from both sides, take off the tawa .
- Put desi ghee / butter on roti and serve it with chutney, Curry dish.
TIPS:
- By adding a little wheat flour, the roti can be easily shaped with the help of a rolling pin.
- Knead soft dough for bajra roti.
- At the time of kneading the dough, add salt and oil to makes the roti crispy
- Cook the bajra roti on medium flame so that it should be cooked on inside
