SPRING ONIONS WITH GREEN PEAS 

Winter season means vegetables season. In winter season many types of vegetables are available in the market such as palak, methi, bathua, sarson, carrot, green peas, spring onions etc. Today i am telling you how to make spring onions with green peas. We can make spring onion with green peas sabzi very easily and quickly. It is very nutritious and full of flavour.

INGREDIENTS:                                                          

  • 250 gram           Spring onion /Hare pyaz (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup               Fresh green peas (boiled)
  • 1 tsp                   Ginger (grated)
  • 2                         Green chili (chopped)
  • 2                         Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 3 tsp                   Oil
  • 1 tsp                   Cumin seeds/ / Jeera
  • 1 tsp                   Red chili powder / lal mirch powder
  • 1/2 tsp                Turmeric powder / haldi powder
  • 1/2 tsp                Garam masala
  • According to taste    Salt
  • 1 tsp                    Curd
  • 1/4  cup               water

METHOD:

  • Heat 3 table spoon oil in a pan, add cumin seeds. 
  • When the cumin seeds crackle add ginger and green chili and chopped spring onions.
  • Cook it for 5 min, keep  stirring it occasionally.
  • Now add the green peas and tomatoes until the onions are  soft.
  • Put salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, curd.
  • Mix it properly, add water in it.
  • Cover it with lid and cook it for 7 -8 min.
  • When the spring onion, peas is cooked add garam masala to it, mix it properly.
  • Spring onion with peas is ready to serve, you can serve it with bajra roti or parantha.



ANOTHER WAY TO PREPARE SPRING ONIONS WITH GREEN PEAS


INGREDIENTS:                                                          

  • 250 gram           Spring onion /Hare pyaz (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup               Fresh green peas (boiled)
  • 1 tsp                   Ginger (grated)
  • 2                         Green chili (chopped)
  • 2                         Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 3 tsp                   Oil
  • 1 tsp                   Cumin seeds/ / Jeera
  • 1 tsp                   Red chili powder / lal mirch powder
  • 1/2 tsp                Turmeric powder / haldi powder
  • 1/2 tsp                Garam masala
  • According to taste    Salt
  • 1 tsp                    Curd

METHOD:


  • Boil 2 cup of water , switch off the flame, put peas to it and keep it covered for 2 minutes so that the peas become soft.
  • Remove the peas from the water when they become soft.
  • Heat 3 table spoon oil in a pan, add cumin seeds. 
  • When the cumin seeds crackle add ginger and green chili and chopped spring onions.
  • Cook it for 5 min, keep  stirring it occasionally.
  • Now  tomatoes until the onions are  soft.

  • Put peas in it and mix it properly
  • Put salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, curd.
  • Mix it properly, Cover it with lid and cook it for 7 -8 minutes
  • When the spring onion, peas is cooked add garam masala to it, mix it properly.
  • Spring onion with peas is ready to serve, you can serve it with bajra roti or parantha.
